The XYZworks Map Check app is used to enter data from a map, plat, or legal description of a lot or parcel, and quickly produce a plot on the screen and compute the area enclosed.
This is used by Land Surveyors, landowners, title companies, and others to determine if the area of the lot matches what the records say.
Useful to check the data on a county GIS (geographic information system) or tax maps.
